And a decade of minutes
\nFilled my hours with nothing but misery
\nWhen I was alone in that distant land,
\nWhere chirping birds and shifting sceneries were my favorite pastime.
\nBut how could I endure every moment
\nWhen your hands crackled from behind my back on my bed,
\nAnd those irresistible memories knocked at my lips?
\nI started moving them along,
\nYearning for your taste at once,
\nBut found only a puff of air. <\/p>\n

Those days were hard to spend.
\nI didn\u2019t find a trace of you,
\nYet there wasn\u2019t a single minute you weren\u2019t with me.
\nWhile taking a walk,
\nI held your hand,
\nRelished you under the shower,
\nGlanced into your eyes,
\nAnd then again at your lips.
\nA little smirk\u2014

Although your absence was impermanent,

\nThat reminds me of ancient queens.
\nI decided almost everything. <\/p>\n

As the days passed by,
\nThe clock tended to tease me sometimes,
\nEspecially in those night hours.
\nAn unending garland of reminders popped my heart off,
\nMoistening my skin.
\nEven with every morsel of food I had,
\nI wished you could inject it into me. <\/p>\n

Today is the last day here,
\nAnd I am all prepared to see you.
\nI don\u2019t know if I will recognize you,
\nBut never mind\u2014
\nYour bodily fragrance,
\nWhich kept me alive,
\nWill do it at once. <\/p>\n
